Match #3 of the 2008 season and I did OK. Just OK in the fact that I scored high enough in one relay to actually improve my high average so far. I am just breaking 96% with an average of 461 out of a possible 480.

George Carlin died yesterday. From his appearance as the hippy dippy weatherman on the Carson Show until now, he never failed to bring me to tears laughing. I hope he is enjoying a drink with Bill Hicks right now!

My K31 was really performing today. The latest loads I made were what the doctor ordered. As always, the rifle was a conversation piece at the range. Most people have never seen one before.

Mary and I tried the Bella Vista Trattoria & Pizzaria last night. A nice place with a sizeable deck out back. The pizza was very good, although they were out of calimari for appetizers.

I got to visit with Patrick as he was in town prior to going to FSG in Darlington. I swear he has gotten taller! We had a great visit and I drank an entire bottle of Apfelkorn without realizing it! Patrick; being a truely unique person, is going to be roughing it at the campground. He is taking his new Coleman rechargeble battery operated blender. The damn thing even came with it's own margarita glasses!
